The same 5 gallon water bottling machine is sold as a 20 liter water bottle filling machine or water jar filling machine in different markets. The line can also decap, brush the outside, inspect, shrink the cap seal, count and palletize the barrels.
Quick answerA 5 gallon water filling machine washes returned barrels, fills them and presses on the caps automatically. Angel’s QGF series of barrel filling machines runs from the single-head QGF-100 (60–100 barrels per hour) to the 18-head QGF-2000 (1,800–2,000 barrels per hour) for 3 and 5 gallon (12–20 litre) barrels.

How it works
Inside the 5 gallon water filling machine
Washing
Several wash liquids and a high-pressure spray clean the inside of each returned barrel; a 20 liter water bottle washing machine (outside brusher) can be added in front.
Filling
Each head fills about 100–150 barrels per hour, so the number of heads sets the output of the gallon filling machine.
Capping
Caps are fed from a cap loader, sprayed clean and pressed on; a cap shrinker seals them after the light check.

01Which barrel sizes can the QGF machines fill?
3 and 5 gallon barrels, Φ270 × 490 mm. Other barrel sizes need confirmation.
02How many filling heads do I need?
About 100–150 barrels per hour per head: QGF-300 has 2 heads for 250–300 barrels/h, QGF-900 has 6 heads for 800–900 barrels/h.
03Do you supply the barrel blow molding machine?
Yes. The semi-automatic AGL-12 blows 10–25 L (3–5 gallon) PET barrels at 60–180 per hour.
