This PET bottle soda filling machine is the heart of a carbonated soft drink filling line, and the same soda bottling machine runs plain soda water: the QHS mixer blends syrup and water and carbonates it, and the isobaric filler keeps that carbonation in the bottle.

How it works
Inside the carbonated drink filling machine
Isobaric filling
The bottle is pressurised with CO₂ to the tank pressure before the valve opens, so the drink fills without foaming; filling pressure up to 0.4 MPa.
Soda water and soft drinks
The same carbonated filling machine runs as a soda water filling machine and a soft drink filling machine; the mixer sets the CO₂ level.
Neck handling
Bottles are carried by the neck through rinsing, filling and capping, so a bottle change needs only star wheels and guides.
Caps
Plastic screw caps or crown caps, with a no-bottle, no-cap interlock.

01What filling pressure do the DCGF machines use?
Up to 0.4 MPa. The bottle is pressurised to tank pressure before the valve opens, so the drink does not foam.
02Can I fill carbonated drinks in cans or glass bottles?
Yes. Cans use the GDF can filler and seamer; glass bottles use the BCGF glass bottle filler with crown capping.
03Is a pasteuriser needed?
It depends on the product. The catalogue CSD line includes a pasteurizer tunnel for drinks that need it.
